The CDC Guidance for Masks has been updated, as of January 14, 2022. While they have stressed the importance of filter masks as ensuring protection this year, they also suggest that children may not find such masks the easiest to wear and that universal masking, which includes children wearing masks that are easiest to keep on is among most important guidelines.

This week, the US government announced that it would be supplying quality masks to fit small faces in the coming weeks, as it has recently provided quality N95 masks for adults in recent weeks.
